Melvin Withers

Melvin Jonquel Withers, born July 9, 1988, son of the late Pamela Withers and Melvin Weathers, departed this earthly life on September 17, 2026.

Melvin was a former Patriot at Independence High School. He worked for UNC Charlotte and also with a janitorial company. He was the “life of the party,” dance moves like no other. Everyone who came in contact with him loved him dearly. He was a very bright spirit and will truly be missed.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Pamela Withers and Melvin Weathers; grandparents, Doris Withers and Lloyd Reeves.

He leaves behind his daughter, Princess Melanie Withers; two sisters, Cherrica Withers and Shavondra Withers; and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
